This week, as seen on the BiggerPockets News Page, FannieMae and FreddieMac (the large government entities that back a majority of U.S. mortgages) announced that they will halt the foreclosure process for the mortgages they currently own, as well as halting the eviction process for tenants who live in the properties they have taken back.

Bank of America also has agreed to halt foreclosures during this season - with other banks hinting at the same.

What about you? Would you hold off an eviction or foreclosure because of the holiday season?

Absolutely not. Do grocery stores let shoplifters walk out because its the holidays? Gas stations allow drive offs because its the holidays? Theft is theft, not matter what time of year.
