I have a family friend that owns 20-30 rentals and is ready to retire.

In my specific case, I am setting aside money for 401K, retirement and 529 plan for child's education.

My friend had paid $30K in 2015 for the fortune builder and he retire in 2016 lol he share his program with me and it works for people who have ZERO clue of RE, but I found it useless because I already knew the basics.

@Christopher Neil For retirement funds I like the idea of lending, performing notes, or JV on deals where you provide the capital and the JV provides the work.

@James Capovilla Florida has always been a great place to invest but more so recently, the baby boom generation has been coming down here for years visiting there parents who retired down here and now that they are getting ready to retire its only natural that they retire to a warmer place all year ..
