I think the tenant's furniture, mattresses, clothing, etc. sucked up the odor or camouflaged it.Unless, you are desperate to rent the unit then find a better tenant with less risk.

As a GC we have subs we trust but for our fee we are the baby sitters, picture takers, etc and make sure the subs don't go marking up the materials 100-500% like they do for normal customers.

They also stated that they own the clothes washer and dryer in their unit, but the seller made clear that they are included in the sale of the home.They also don't have a written lease, and all of the agreements that they have with the seller are verbal only.Seeing that these tenants are more than likely going to cause headaches in the future, what is the best way to proceed?
