Despite our back and forth, everything has been civil until his most recent email, where he’s stated that his worker who did the work will testify that they used their own materials on the toe kick (a lie), that he is tracking time it takes him to respond to these emails and will charge me for said time.

If they're all just held under a SMLLC in Nevada then then all goes on your personal 1040- if the holding entitity is a partnership then you have a more complicated filing where basis and balance sheet tracking comes into play.

If they did not fix them, then you again have the option to walk or renegotiate.The important thing to keep track of are the deadlines in the contract for performance meaning, make sure things are getting done according to the timelines written in the contract because once the timelines expire, so do the contingencies they represent.The term "turnkey" can mean different things to different people.
