I realize SOME jurisdictions do have their own laws that are more restrictive than the Fed, but I did recommend at the end of the post that local legal counsel evaluate your rules for the local jurisdiction, which is prudent regardless of the specific LL/Tenant topic for which you are creating or revising rules for your tenants.
