Hello all. I just took the plunge and went pro, I'm ready to start learning and earning. I have my real estate license, but I have not done any kind of deals yet and I need to gain some experience. My goal is to do a flip and also have a rental property by the end of the year, with regular agent buyer/seller work sprinkled in the mix. Looking forward to attending some local meet-ups and networking for mentorship and guidance.

Hey Debbie congrats and welcome to the "club"! Looks like you've got three things you're working toward at the same time - flip, rental, and agent, in the next 12 months. Not saying it's impossible, but since you're starting from scratch with all three, just be prepared for the bumpy road ahead. I work with aspiring investors and when they try to achieve multiple things at once, they usually miss their goal or are mediocre at best with what they're working toward. Here's a word of encouragement though by Henry Ford. "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right either way."
