New investors should not be discouraged. Yes, the Fed just hiked the interest rates but if you are trying to time the market on when to buy and when not to buy that is not a good strategy. I agree that it will slow down the market but there is still a demand for housing and Goldman Sachs reported that “99% of borrowers have a mortgage rate lower than the current market”.
