@Jay Hinrichs Yes, the laws are tougher on the equity split with homeowners nowadays, but there is a company that got licensed to do it and is actively pursuing it, in certain areas.. http://www.1rex.com/I saw Mike Lyon (sales director) speak about it as a tool for RE agents on high-end homes in the Bay where the owner doesn’t have the whole downpayment.

A true C corp will be a PITA to administer, stock cretificates, minutes, officers/directors, etc. but an LLC can elect C status.
