My wife and I have talked about house-hacking and it definitely is a possibility in the next few years while our baby isn't in school yet (he's 13 months). 

I'm trying to save and work but while in school its rough trying to come up with a few thousand dollars.

Yes, I am a local(ish), I have been living here since elementary school, I didn't go to App but my best friend growing up did.

I'm looking at Atlanta specifically, because I have family there, I went to school there, and we fly into Atlanta when we visit the US.

Same neighborhood preferably, same school district and schools, same finishes and I always go make at least one improvement the other properties don’t have. 

Maybe my need is that I need a specific school zone. 

Hey BiggerPockets members, My name is Jeanette and I recently graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics and Psychology and just moved to Dallas.

Also, I live in Houston, TX, so if anyone has a school or online path they would recommend I would greatly appreciate the guidance!

I am approaching this as one would in choosing a good school and not so much racing for that first commission check..although experiencing both early on would be great, of course!

Plus here the schools closed the last three days of this week  because of the rain and 3 days last week from flu/too many people out sick, so not much is getting done anywhere.Also, they will be working Saturday too, which they generally do not.
