@Kim Hopkins I completely agree with @Priyanshu AdathakkarIf anyone else wasn't cutting it in their work - it's simple... they'd get fired.

I recently picked up 'The Book on rental property investing'.

If you are using him in the future make sure you understand his rates, if he will charge you for a simple emailed question, how phone calls work.

It's been a great learning experience with several healthy headaches, but I'm definitely ready to make a move into a larger home with central AC as Texas temps break the 100's way too often.On the profession side, I spent the past 7 and a half years in insurance, and in mid-2017, I began saving up for the jump to real estate so I could immerse myself in the industry (and hopefully pick up a few good deals along the way).

Something as simple as “how long have you owned the property” will probably throw off an imposter.  

Looking to pick up several properties for buy & hold over the next year.
