Assuming it is and you dont own more than the property is worth a standard dwelling fire policy/landlord policy would be fine if you insure for replacement value.

The Nassau/Suffolk market is definitely unique in the sense that although there are great SFH options available, multifamily options to househack are not super common - unless you find something with an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) or at least can pull permits for ADU.
