I had a 2 month project that included 2 layers of siding ripoff with new vinyl siding install, all new windows including basement, 3 layers of asphalt shingles and the original cedar shake and then new roof, paint interior, finish removing old structure, some new flooring, some kitchen and bathroom remodel among other areas.

If you or the contractor you hire does not follow proper safety with the slope above the wall, the whole slope could fail and depending on the distance to the adjacent house it could slide down the hill.The premade concrete block walls more than 3 ft high require geotextile fabric behind the wall for stability.
