They are paid by the number of blogs they hit and the number of backlinks is a bonus for them hopefully this helps.

Rents in DC will always be solid, and as you pointed out earlier, if you can land some Section 8 tenants that's an added bonus.

It covers are the ground floor basics regarding Real Estate Investing and some bonus material too that is just not out there.

The MIL apartment, (which again, is totally self contained, even have their own laundry and separate entry) seems like a bonus to me, and judging by the look of it, it seems like I have a good chance of passing inspection with only minor hassle, if any.

I will not complain though, because I think the information was very useful for getting started and the bonus material we got when we signed up was very valuable.

The agreement I have gives me the installation for free, but I buy a 6 month subscription package...that I include as a bonus to the new buyer (or at least whatever is left of the subscription).

That way even if you make 'only' 20k in 6 months, which by the way is 1/2 of medium household income in Holiday FL, that 20k is like a bonus half years wage just dropped into your account.

My plan is to buy and hold, keeping the property as a rental after we leave LA likely in a few years (thinking primarily cash flow, appreciation is a bonus).
