Most homeowners policies will allow such hazards as long as there are proper safety and security devices/buffer zones in place but these safety and security provisions do not exempt anyone from liability.

So I don't.Right now, I have two cars in storage, I can't bring myself to spend the money on them at the moment for some reason, which is especially annoying as one of them I've owned for 24 years, even exported to the US, spent a vast (vast for a VW) amount of money on it ten years ago, and it's done barely 1500 miles since its rebuild.Yet I can spend money on a tool for the business in an instant.

Tenant #3 I am talking to later today.We would like their stuff out by Monday, but have no idea what they were told in terms of deadlines or expectations (The old PM would probably be lying anyway if I asked)Can we just offer to move it to a storage facility for a month and pay for it?

Good, I thought.  6 or 7 years later I need to sell one, so I go there to fix it up and ready it for sale and lo and behold, just for me, right outside my livingroom window stands a giant haphazard storage shed, two stories tall, stacked to the top with trash, surrounded by a garbage dump.

If I move, there will be obvious move and possibly storage costs, as well as the loss of time spent purging/packing/unpacking.

Only storage units get more return per sq foot or acre,  and you only own the land and support infrastructure (office, laundry, pool etc).
