Lots of other trouble spots - washing machines, dish washers, toilet tanks, hot water heaters.

The issue is not that there is an underground tank its if the tank leaks and has residual oil on the property.   

Is there a mandatory amount of tanks you need per units, I honestly do not know, but that is just how I do it.

Today I had an underground oil tank removed at 1 of my rehab projects in jersey city.

I have some basic ideas of what I would like in mine, underground oil tanker scan, septic tank check, setback measurement, etc.

Or to switch to a tankless hot water heater.Has anyone here have experience in switching hot water heaters from tank to tankless??

I worked with a property management company for a while they leased plenty of properties for capital companies, the standard was:-$250. to $300 extra on the security deposit per pet, -total of 3 pets, no more-no large fish tanks -no large breed dogs or vicious/dangerous breeds (double check this)-size of the unit definitely matters-always ask for shot record/vet paper-but, if they don't have them don't make a big deal about it-always do a pet addendum, if there is damage to the property or health/safety for the community-this will violate the lease agreement.

If your current tank already has the double walled ss pipe and 3/4" lines then I don't really see much of a downfall.
