hmm...the best thing I can suggest to you Tommy is to check out elance.com or getafreelancer.com and hire a professional copywriter to do this for you.Some time it is best to outsource our work to professionals rather than write it ourselves unless you have the experience in writing up a sales letter/postcard.

So use that knowledge to tailor something that will benefit the person opting in.I recommend writing your own follow-ups/autoresponder messages unless you can find a copywriter who knows the industry.Make them informative, short and sweet so that they are consumable.Good Luck!
