Wholesaling Autoresponder Email Templates?

Hey guys,

I finally put together a squeeze page to find motivated sellers through internet marketing. My next step is to hook it up to an autoresponder service such as aweber.

Whats the best approach in doing this? What types of emails should I send. Are there any templates that I can customize. Any one go this route?

What are your visitors opting-in for? Is it purely to contact you for an offer? Are you educating them on something...perhaps the foreclosure process vs. cash sale, etc.?

Generally an autoresponder is a multi-step tool that leads to a sale...so figure out your end goal and lead them that direction. It's usually better to err on the side of educating prospects.

While collecting the leads thru autoresponder forum, you can do list segmentation. So you can target products based on this.

For this you can ask your subscriber interests with checkbox/radiobutton fields. Based on their interests, you can send email.

Just as Mike and Chris mentioned, remember the opt-in is just one step in the "funnel".

Something to keep in mind, is this, if someone should opt-in, give them something of value in exchange - and most people that are on the internet are looking for information or a solution to a problem.  So use that knowledge to tailor something that will benefit the person opting in.

I recommend writing your own follow-ups/autoresponder messages unless you can find a copywriter who knows the industry.

Make them informative, short and sweet so that they are consumable.

I recommend sitting down for a quick 15-30 minutes to go over your customer avatar.

Who are they?
How old are they?
Where do they live?
What tonality would gain their trust?
What are their biggest fear?
How can you help them?

When you answer all those, your message will be a lot clearer and it'll be easier to connect with your prospects. It'll just be a 1on1 conversation of you really tring to help them out.
