We will rent our room out through Airbnb to help pay the mortgage.Well that's our story for our first income property.

That was my story, and i learned from trial and error, and it got better and better, i start making more and more money.

So, here I am breaking out of my shell and posting here to get my story and intentions out for others to see.I have read much about creative financing to get a deal funded, whether it is owner or seller financing to subject to and even hard money, which I discovered that really is not the way to go unless there is no other way to fund the deal.

Oh I forgot to mention it's a huge 2 story barn in the back but is technically a different lot as far as paperwork.

So thanks for the inspiration and thanks for the idea.  

Stories have been told of a handful of investors bidding down all the properties and winning, so the questions are as follows:1) What are some tactics or general actions to take that would win a property?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.So each unit is 1450sf 3bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, two stories, with 2 car garage.Rent is $2400 per unitproperty taxes 1.5%Owner pays for water/sewer $500 per month.

It's almost scary reading the success stories here.
