I'm a young architect working in the Los Angeles area with experience in planning and designing high-end spec homes and multi-family projects.I am planning on making my first purchase and looking for advice on how to use cash from partners to purchase a property using a traditional loan (not a corporate loan).

Just yesterday I received an email from a group of buyers/investors wanting to get South Bay (Los Angeles) properties. 

Why would I (in an active market like Los Angeles) do that? 

Currently in south baja los cabos, seeing a boom in properties with some big names investing and developing by the sea of cortes.
