New Member - Los Angeles - Interested in Commercial/Multifamily

Hello, BP! My name is Christine Humphrey and I currently live in Los Angeles but have lived all up and down the west coast including Portland OR, the Bay Area, Sacramento and Lake Tahoe.  

How did I come to be here on BP? After two years of toying with the idea and how to start, I was Googling a question about real estate in Los Angeles and the top search result was a Bigger Pockets forum link. Needless to say, I was hooked! I think I listened to 2 or 3 podcasts that same day and now religiously listen to one every day (I started at Episode 1, so I have some catching up to do!). 

Overall, the most exciting REI venture for me has to be commercial and multifamily properties. The idea of flipping a house is still fun and exciting (thanks, HGTV), but after learning more and more in this short time, commercial/multifamily is what I want to put my focus into. If any other commercial/multifamily investors are out there, I would love to hear how you took your first steps and a recent win you had!

I look forward to diving more into BP and can't wait to see what the future holds.
