If you have the chance to take entrepreneurship and accounting classes though I would jump at that chance, and really round out your real estate investment education, and it will also give a great starting point when you want to create or grow your own company. 

Your last question should be: "Given what we've discussed today, who else in town should I be talking to and would it be OK if I let them know you referred them?"

I’m still undecided but this information is incredibly helpful in forming an educated decision. 

I'm amazed at how many investors get all wrapped up in how the deal looks today, but don't spend any time analyzing the processes that will go in to making their property perform on a long-term basis.You are welcome to PM me if you want more insights.

I can still maintain my profession as an attorney because for the most part I have hired staff and set processes up that don't require me to be part of the day to day operations.

I think you are on the right path, and you have done a fair amount to educate yourself by studying etc. 

Any suggestion on where i can find some meet groups or educational seminars to help get started in this space that want waste my time.

For example, the arm of our business today offering the full services of a management company to just under 500 doors, utilizes online management software, owner/tenant portals, online tenant screening, advertising and applications, online PDF fillable leases, electronic signatures, walk through inspection apps, online maintenance coordination, lots of texting, etc.
