Impressing a potential mentor!

Hello everyone my name is Richard Lema and I am a 19 year old college student. I recently dropped out of my University and moved to par-time in my near by community college.

I've been working for a management company for the past 3 years, with my dad (my dad has been working there for 15+years) Installing HVAC, Boilers, and also Electrical work. Recently I have met one of the workers, who my dad has know for a very long time. He is a very successful real estate mentor and he has given me and my dad the opportunity to talk with him for 2 hours. (AWSOME RIGHT!)

Well I need your help guys. I really want to impress him, and not just be looked upon as some other young man with big hopes and dreams. I've been listening to bigger pockets podcast and read many of the forum. I've studied through YouTube and guides. And I know 80% of the lingo of RE.

So what I am asking for is if you were looking for a mentee or interviewing one, what would you look for and what type of questions would you ask to see if this guy is serious and knows the concept behind Real Estate deals and a certain niche he decides to attack.

Thank you for your time!
