That said, it may not be easy and as Jon said, you'll just need to communicate them regularly until it is resolved.The HELOC, who is now in first lien position, doesn't really have an incentive to sign the subordination at this point, UNLESS, they had previously already agreed to do so.

It would be less expensive to communicate exclusively with them on email than on the phone, but on the other hand I can see that leading to long email tag games and BS.

As soon as we have too many rental properties (or flip properties) that my project manager can't handle both jobs, I will hire out the property management to someone else.The goal is that by the time I need to hire a PM company, I'll have enough rentals that I can just hire another part-time person to manage them all, as that will provide more control than a larger company where I don't have constant communication.
