Right now you really want to focus on enhancing your human capital ( and college) but along the way, like summers and down time, I would really read all you can on real estate strategies (be it flips or buy and holds) and even think about some hands on work if you have access (relatives in the industry, summer jobs, etc) to an opportunity (even as a laborer on a crew)..

Investor carrot SEO is powered by a company called Generation Web, which touts that their CEO is "1 of 50 who are SEO certified" - in 10 years in the industry, I've never heard of an SEO certification - is there anyone from Investor Carrot who can fill me in on what this certification is, and who certifies the applicants?

I am not here for the easy money, I know this a very serious industry and doing the "dancing" as you said, would be nothing but disrespectful to the professionals in the field.
