Hi Bigger Pockets,

My name is Garrett Faucette from Utah and I am new to Bigger Pockets. I have been listening to the podcasts as much as possible, during my commute to and from work, and while at home. I even got my wife hooked on listening to the podcasts while she is cooking dinner! We are reading, listening, watching, and getting our hands on all the knowledge Bigger Pockets has to offer. I see that @Jeff Rappaport puts together a BP meet-up the first Thursday of the month. We are really excited about that and networking with everyone there. Unfortunately, I can’t be there tomorrow, but I look forward to going in March. I’m also excited about the UVREIA monthly meetings to be able to meet others in the real estate investment industry.

My wife and I recently bought a beautiful home with a basement apartment that covers most of our mortgage. We realize that real estate investing has the potential to bring serious financial freedom. Our short-term goal is to purchase a single-family home in Utah County to rehab and flip all within the next 4 months. By August, we want to have purchased a small multi-family rental. We hope to network like crazy to get connected with others in the industry and to create opportunities to achieve our big goals.
