Hi BP Community,My brother  and I are looking to buy a multifamily investment property in Western Massachusetts and was really hoping people would be kind enough to share some "hot areas/towns/zip codes" or as hot as they come in the area.

Where about in Western NC?  

I chose Pgh as I'm in the western part of the state, but I'm not in Pittsburgh proper.

All of the near western suburbs have strict zoning laws, and you don't find out about the issues that will come up until the seller orders/pays for the inspection.

If right now you want to keep just tracking on your own, I'm a bit old fashioned, I would set up a search for an area and track all new listings and check back in on them and write down all the info as they go under contract and sell.

I'm in Raleigh and have properties in High Point and Western NC, so I'm further from coast, but always happy to connect!

But as far as replacing half of a simple gable/peaked roof shape instead of all of it, it's very common out here in western Pennsylvania.

You not only have Cleveland Clinic, but University Hospital and Case Western Reserve University all in that vicinity.
