I watched HG tv. I got inspired, I got my real estate license. We bought our first flip and remodeled it from top to bottom.  I got the sign for my first listing and proudly stuck it in the yard.  This was early September in 2008.  My timing was impeccable. (Insert sarcasm ) At the time, we were house hacking by living in a finished basement while renting a 4/3 we had purchased a few years prior.  We decided to move into our flip and ride out the messy market and rent out the two doors we now had just a few blocks from a booming college.  We didn’t intend to become multi home owners but we still own both of those homes along with five others.  3 are furnished SRT’s and the others are long term, along with our primary.  We closed on our 7th home recently and plan to seek out an 8th if it’s still n the cards.  My wife is the financial wizard and I swing the hammer.  It’s a match made in heaven.  We enjoy the hunt for the perfect fixer upper and have become big fans of the BP community.

@Jason Campbell - Great story, what an inspirational journey. You and your wife definitely have a ton of grit and sound like a great team! Keep crushing it my friend.
