Who can help a borough design and STR ordinance?

I have interest in a building that I would like to buy and open for STR. As I approach the borough, they are in the process of putting together a an ordinance for STR. Is there someone in this space who would be able to recommend ordinance ideas that would be favorable to investors? To clarify, the burro has no policy right now and knows that it must create an ordinance to allow STR. They're willing and I want to make sure they come down on the right side of things.

You can also rent it out STR and if there are any issues with the borough, wait till they bring it to your attention. Make sure if the STR doesnt work you can still profit with Long term.

You cant fight city hall. Its expensive and lengthy. I am a proponent of ask for forgiveness not permission. I know a bunch of STR landlords in Pittsburgh and they just started STR and Air B and Bs never asked if it was permitted.

I dont think being cautious is a bad thing but weigh your risk verses reward and your options.
