Western Massachusetts hot investment areas

Hi BP Community,

My brother  and I are looking to buy a multifamily investment property in Western Massachusetts and was really hoping people would be kind enough to share some "hot areas/towns/zip codes" or as hot as they come in the area. He is currently working in Pittsfield, MA so looking for something that is hopefully close.

The investment would likely be a 3/4 family. He is in construction, so areas that generally need rehab are certainly in the equation.

Really appreciate everyone's time and hope to hear your thoughts,

Jason

I'm just starting to invest in Berkshire County and am getting started in Great Barrington. I wouldn't call these markets "hot" but perhaps more "stable." Pittsfield itself seems like a great value play.
