AirBnB rules in Forest Park, IL?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how easy it is to rent a unit on Airbnb in Forest Park, IL? We are looking at purchasing a property with the idea of living in the coach house but listing it on Airbnb, but want to understand the local laws and statutes around short term listings there. I called Airbnb and they were not helpful at all. Thanks for any information or thoughts on how to find this information!

Nor should they be. Why take the liability of giving you a wrong answer when AirBnB can tell you to get off your duff and CONTACT THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACTUALLY CONTROLLING THE SITUATION!!!!!!!!?????!!!!.

I know for a fact that Forest Park has a website.

Typically - from what I've observed, Bigger Pockets is a community of investors willing and eager to help those looking for answers. What I'm seeing in your reply is someone with nothing better to do than berate those BP community members looking for helpful, thoughtful replies. If you're informed on the topic of Forest Park, Chicago AirBnB rentals, why not share your wealth of knowledge and provide @Gillian C. the link or phone number she's looking for. If you can't do that, take your all caps nonsense back to the local news comment sections you usually peruse.
