I want this post to benefit those who are starting out in real estate and want to believe they can succeed.Don’t take this as me bragging about my accomplishments (most people don’t even know that I own a real estate portfolio, outside of BP).Real estate sucks.

The house is a triplex and is being nicely renovated inside and outside, but the property itself is an eyesore, as the parking areas are in bad shape, there is no grass, the dirt has washed away and the ground is uneven, and there is no fence.

I had a property out in a semi decent area outside DC for a while and the A/C condenser was stolen 2 times, I mention that because there can be large unexpected costs in these areas especially if they are known to be high crime!

Or it could be a house thats been stripped on the inside with nothing left to steal outside of windows and he just could not care about the house itself any more.
