Selling Land

Hi Everyone,

I am going to need a lot of advice for this one because I dont know where to begin. My family owns a piece of land in Charles County Maryland and they want to sell it. They came to me being that I am an investor and want me to sell it for them.  Being myself, I said ok ill see what I can do knowing that I dont know the first thing about selling land. 

The land itself is 38 acers of all woods and the land will perk. My questions are how do I know how much this land is worth? Who would I talk to so I can sell it? What if I wanted to build houses or build a development? I guess there are a lot of possibilities for what I can do with the land but where to start?
