You should even if it's not required by law as tenants contracting any illness traced back to the environment you provided can fall on you.A single family home will be different than an apartment, for apartments the owner is in the best position to manage a pest treatment program.

So on its face they would like the deal to work so they get a pay day but at the end of the day if it does not ... they just shrug their shoulders with an Oh Well and sorry poor seller that I tied up your home with no real ability to close etc etc.This type of behavoiur is probably one of the reasons the banks and other sellers are going to demand much higher EMD .. so in the end its the very people that do not have any funds or are not willing to put their own funds up that are creating this higher EMD environment and they are shooting them selves in the foot with unintended consiquences.

And streets there just turn. there is an over supply of homes there like 40 to 50k homes can be bulldozed and they would not be missed.. the local boys will do well they are on it and can manage it. and are probably laughing all the way to the bank but out of state well that's another kettle of fish all together. best of luck

To be fair, that was three to four years ago and back then RE was a scarier investment in the eyes of the uninitiated so the environment might be totally different now.
