My mother sold real estate for 20 years and she was great at it!  

Hello,My best friend's mother is currently going through a divorce and trying to sell her house.

LOL @Anthony Angotti,I was thinking the same thing. around me they take everything not tied down, setup an ad on craigslist and rent it under a false name to some unsuspecting single mother.

You unfortunately are dealing with a mother hen hobby landlord that needs to be straightened out on her responsibilities as a landlord.I would ask to meet with her, explain that the rent is due on the first and it will always be paid on the first, and that if she insists on harassing you then you want out of the lease.

You'll need to find a reputable medical facility management company, OR a good Director of Nursing, and run it yourself.

He was so careful about all of this that if he had to enter a unit with a female tenant to address a minor repair issue he made sure my mother came with him.  

(The person who introduced us is realtor’s mother so some bias here).

My agent suggested buying one of the houses if the seller will agree to include the other house as a mother-in-law quarters or "another building" on the lot.

This all took place in Louisiana and the Texas deed is still in the mothers name.

Think about this from your mothers stand point..
