I was a Licensed Mortgage Broker back in 2005-2009  and flipped a few homes when no real skill was needed back then and made good money which I foolishly invested into a joint business venture with my hubby in 2006.  

I am interested in learning how to either flip houses or invest in property to produce long-term income now, so that when I finish graduate school my wife and I can best invest our income early on. 

I just got word this evening that I got a foreclosure on which I bid- my first flip!

I also flipped one home a few years back.

I want to try flipping but I am very hesitant because not too many people buy here.

Broker since 06 like working with investors and dabbling in wholesaling and flipping.

what I seem to find is HML> rehab> DFE/ cashout refi I have nothing against flipping for capitol to invest in buy and hold. buy and hold attracted me to real estate.

Austin is a great market for flips.

I feel that I am adequately competent at analyzing properties for a wholesale deal that results in a rehab flip but much less competent at understanding how to properly  analyze deals that are more suited for the buy and hold investor.
