My name is Carol Roberts and I reside in Central Florida.  I decided to return to teaching last year 2015-2016 after being out for 11 years. After devoting 80+ hours weekly and never feeling free of school responsibilities I chose not to return but met my goal to earn a small pension when I turn 62. I was a Licensed Mortgage Broker back in 2005-2009  and flipped a few homes when no real skill was needed back then and made good money which I foolishly invested into a joint business venture with my hubby in 2006.  Well we all know what happened in 2007/2008.  The bubble burst, our franchise went bust 3 weeks prior to us opening, we lost all corporate advertising and tried to make it on our own. We lost 2 homes, our business and the commercial property we developed and then was forced 2 file BK to protect us from future deficiency judgments, etc.

I am ready to begin again investing in real estate. I just pulled out a little equity so I would have some capital if needed. I would prefer to master using other people's money whenever possible. I was turned on to BiggerPockets when reading reviews for Freedom mentors.

Excited to learn and love the idea of partnering with a seasoned investor for a few deals sharing profits 50/50 if anyone is interested.
