Hello gang, I'm just starting out in the fascinated world of RE investment, I'm all for thinking outside the box so I have a question for you guys to see if this might work.

Just spent over an hour at the bank and they are not able to setup a simple checking account for my new 401k trust to roll funds into.

If you meet an appraiser on site they ask a ton of questions and hardly look at the stuff themselves.Yes sir, we spent "$3,500" on that new furnace "cough, cough" (supply and install costs us $1,100) lolAll good as Dan and myself connected behind the scenes.You know me Charlie, I am not a typer or one for Argie Bargie.Just one of those days where heads butt for no benefit to us except the watching crowd hahaThanks and chat soon.

The interest is high and despite the many hours and dollars spent to date, it has been worth it!

Both were entry level simple two-box ranches,  about 1276 SF.  

I spent around $2150 to mail about 4000 cards including the cost of the course ($97 i got the cheap version not the $497).

Lots of thinking outside the box - probably the norm for a seasoned investor.  

I spent 1 month there back in the early '80's on my Aust. passport & also picked up a little of Russian by necessity.One intriguing issue I found in coastal construction, particularly the various early 1920's Mansions, was the structural failure of the cement used.
