I don't know if there is much I can do before signing up for an LLC with the help of a foreign attorney due being a foreign citizen. plus opening up a US Bank account with the help of an agency.

If you think that real estate is “overheated” just look at the last 12 months of the stock market, crypto currencies, etc.

@Ron ReadYou could form multiple LLC's and have the highest level of asset segregation, or form, say, a SC LLC and then register that LLC as a foreign entity do to business in other states. 

Well, I've been reading up about it for the past year or so, so I think it's more accurate to say i'm eagerly tiptoeing into this realm.My family and I spent almost a decade saving our foreign-earned income and are ready to branch out from just index fund investing (which I admittedly enjoy).

So maybe the income is not what it would be for a full time worker but not having debt should help. maybe it is a history thing i dont know so far. i thought id see if they can get it under a foreign loan status if that would help their chances.

That’s obviously not incorporating the unknown factors of being a landlord that are completely foreign to me. 

Thats beacause you are going against foreign investors,who have cash and are not wasting time with inspection, purchasing in Asis condition close in 2 to 3 days ..  

I have been looking for a good one since 2011 and have had no luck since a lot of foreign investors have bid them up way to high.Good Luck,KH
