What I would do differently is savor those moments and not waste so much time laying on the couch watching TV or playing video games.

To obtain financial independents you need to get established in a conventional W2 and work on getting your credit repaired.If you are waiting to inherit and have no intention of working for a living you may have to couch surf and panhandle.The only way to truly get established is through hard work. 

Cleaning and Management company, Taxes, Insurance, Maintenance, repairs and replacements (hot water heater, destroyed couch), Advertising (VRBO, AIRBNB), Supplies, Utilities (Cable, Elec and gas), If you live far away, the expense on travel, meals etc when you ck on the property, Mort and Interest?

I did one property in a duplex nice, but nothing fancy, the other side I called the Bunkhouse and put all kinds of Cowboy ornaments in it, like tables with horse legs, western logwood couch and bed, wagon wheels, varnished pine baseboard and trim, stainless steel appliances, hickory hardwood floors, antique oak hutches and dressers,walk in tiled shower with horses depicted on the shower curtain, elk antler lamp and mirror, etc. 

What's to stop someone from listing a 4-br and saying "our comfortable 4-br has 6 other couches in it in case not everyone wants to share a bed", thus implying that it's ok if you bring 20 people in, wink wink.

I could see that your couch would end up being too stinky to sit on, but I'm skeptical it absorbs enough gas to corrode pipes and wiring in the new house.Is this repairable at all?
