It's just like what several people mentioned about getting a copy of a licence and then giving out the lockbox code, but it's automated and every person gets an individual code that's good for only one hour.

I would keep your FL license until you sell your home and just hang it with a low split brokerage, you can have RE licences in multiple states so I'm not really sure what you're asking.
