We just bought a property in Lake Harmony and were wondering what would be the best way to manage the property for STR.

For me that would be on the water of Lake Michigan (because I'm from Los Angeles and even those houses are cheap for us).

But, with how fast properties go around the lake we need to act fast.

I did the civil engineering on a senior living facility that just opened up last year on Lake Granbury. 

There's also Jefferson City which is just east of knoxville that has some upside too. college town near a lake which gives some upside for students or short term rentals depending on what you like to do. 

I am in Emerald Lake and I just signed with one 2 weeks ago, and it's been a nightmare!

Or down by Monterrey somewhere.I had a bunch of rentals in the day in Lake co... and they were very tough... much like what folks run into in the mid west.
