Poconos STR - self manage or property manager

We just bought a property in Lake Harmony and were wondering what would be the best way to manage the property for STR. We are a 2 hour drive away from Lake Harmony.
1) Is it worth hiring a property manager? If so, any recommendations?

2) If we decide to self manage, what are the things we need to do / what team of people we need to hire?

We are all self managers in the STR world. Well. The ones that hang here are. People that use a manager would have no reason to come here and discuss how to do things because they're paying someone else to do them. So if you have found this forum. You are one of us.
