The amount of time it takes someone to learn how to properly do SEO on their own, therefore "no cost", and then to actually do the SEO and then continue to monitor and improve SEO doesn't seem to return enough added value to overcome just paying someone to do that for them.

I've been reading that experts recommend freezing your credit with each of the credit reporting agencies as a better defense (compared to credit monitoring) against the Equifax and other data breaches.
