I then scrubbed the roof vigorously with a nylon bristle brush and a metal bristle brush. 

That amount should cover the 30 minutes of work, plus sheet of sandpaper, disposable brush, and small can of polyurethane. 

I'm not trying to paint all agents with the same brush, just personal experience.

I bought a home in Fort Morgan - The Fort Morgan/Brush area has a very high demand for rentals, but it's about an hour and half to Denver.  

I would suggest scraping and or taking a grinder with a wire brush to the wall to remove all the loose "plaster" type material.

And get sheets of drywall and paint brushes in those kiddos' hands.

So, if anyone has a recommendation of where to go to brush up on this skillset, please let me know. 

Since I took the training about ten years ago I have loaned my dvds out and never got them back, I was just looking for a new set to brush back up when I saw your question on a google search.

I have no hard data to back this claim up besides personal experience and I don't intent to paint with too broad of a brush, but the sheer amount of people I run into here on BP and in my local area that are thinking of 'starting a fund' or 'syndicating this deal' with less than five deals under their belt and not finance background blows my mind. 

It almost looks like brush strokes like it is primer or something..hard to tell.
