Hi!

Growing up I spent a lot time with my Dad flipping SFH homes. I would go look at properties with him, walk thru the house and he would point out concerns and items of adding property value. He did this on the side while running a bar business. I spent many summers - taking down wallpaper, painting, putting in installation and drywall - never really knowing I was learning along the way. I invested in my first property in 2004, another one in '05 and one in '06. I took a hiatus during the peak but started investing again this year. My model is similar to my Dad's - work a FT job and invest on the side (renovate to rent) BUT my goal is to shift my earned income to passive income so I can do what I enjoy FT (real estate) but with 4 young kids its a challenge. Always welcome any advice, comments, opportunities...
