Maybe you can STR to American tourists?

I know I would like wifi, a nice area to sit outsite, cook outside, maybe tourist information in the rooms, Just a few thoughts!!

Search Airbnb and Craigslist to see what other people are marketing towards the tourists and see what they get for the money they charge. 

I first wanted a vacation home in Orlando to also use whenever i go visit and it being a huge touristic area i felt like it was a good idea; but I feel like something i am able to drive to as my first time is ideal. 

There's a few old condos in miramar that always attract young couples and some tourist.

The economy of Cyprus is growing and it attracts more and more people to live in or tourists visiting it during all year. 

Bend is a beautiful area with 300 days of sunshine (and becoming more popular for tourists and retirees by the day).

I'm looking at a property in an up and coming tourist market, as a possible STR.

It gave me the idea of looking into short term rentals here in DC since it is such a popular tourist destination as well as travel destination for business and government people.
