However, the city has been doing a major redesign of the shoreway/Rt.2 which runs just north of Gordon Square, and right now they are knocking out a huge hole in the bluff that used to separate Gordon Square from Rt. 2 and they are adding a whole new entrance/exit which will allow direct access to the area right off Rt. 2. 

Mike if you have any reccomendations the scope of work I'm looking at is 1 home a few small upgrades, and another total gut redesign and luxury rebuild.

Is it to redesign and renovate the house in order to sell shortly thereafter for a profit?

One would need allot of details about what exists in order to think of what would be a good fit for repurposing and then using that as an anchor for redesign and costing. 

Also I'd be smarter about maximizing my experience there and networking my butt off-Pursuing the many RE designations such as what NARPM offers -Getting RE license.
