My point is you can MONETIZE your time if you choose to help those people or you can be honest with them and simply say you do not have time for things like that for free.I do not charge but I only allocate time to serious clients who I am ready to help.

Well, maybe that opens the door for them to start charging for some features.While I love that we've been able to use craigslist free for all this time, I wouldn't fault them to try to monetize it some more.In Atlanta rental ads used to go through Creative Loafing and the AJC and we had to pay through the nose.

I've taken a few good hits, sure, but never missed a meal.What I would suggest you do, that's actionable advise, to get out of a funk (if I'm right) is to focus on lead generation, find some little deals that count for small successes and learn how to monetize deals that don't fit your criteria by referring them for a fee.
