Currently I am renting out rooms in the house in order to (more than) pay for the mortgage and saving money while working as a full time teacher for another investment.While this was happening, one of my friends from New York who has more money than I do (but not enough to invest in Upper East Side rentals) decided, well was convinced to purchase a duplex in the area.

I am a wrestling coach (and HS teacher and RE agent).

I was hoping I can find guidance in through this network and people to follow who would be willing to help me become a successful real estate investor and hopefully become a teacher in this community in the future.I look forward to speaking with all of you!

Experience is the best teacher and I found that looking at potential investments and calculating the cost of rehab helped me think "I can do this and be good at it!"

If a lowly paind school teacher can do this, anyone can!!!  

Hello,I'm a piano teacher that lives in Seattle looking to purchase a small multifamily building (duplex to quadraplex) as a way to stop rent from holding me back financially,  and perhaps bring in a little income someday.

If your doctor did not spend those 100s of 1000s of $ in becoming a doctor and get that degree and learn from the best teachers.....would you trust them with your life ?

  Wife is retiring as a school teacher in May so we are looking for a few rentals to have projects to work on and make some income.

As a new investor (I'm a high school teacher with two boys) I'm looking for advice/help on investing out of state on my first BRRRR; however, as the title suggests instead of a traditional long term rental I'm wanting to utilize it as a short term rental on platforms like Airbnb and VRBO.
