I am a Newbie investor getting my start in Wholesaling, I just started a direct mail campaign, I sent out postcards and yellow letters to over 700 absentee owners, I received maybe 30 calls in total from both mailings, so far i have not closed a deal.

In his first direct mail marking (a time around 2001~2003, he did not mentioned the exact time) he sent out post cards to 50 OOS investors who were living in Hawaii while owned rental properties in Houston.

Start out with postcards, ugly ones! 

I bought 500 postcards for my first round of mailing.

If you have the funds to market for months start with postcards/letters. 

You can get a mailing list of non-owner properties and send some post cards or letters.

Then the discussion comes down to whether we should pay for a larger quantity of cheaper postcards or less postcards, but larger and higher quality.

Do you rather send 6,000 letters or 12,000 postcards?

Hello all,I have recently decided with my investing partner to start up some wholesale marketing via online, newspapers, bandit signs, and postcards.

What I did was got a list of multi-unit addresses (the address where the tax info is sent) in my "farmed" area and sent them out a post card.
